Usul stores certain user preferences exclusively on your device to enhance your experience:

• Metronome settings: Tempo (BPM), selected usul (rhythmic pattern), time signature
• Sound preferences: Sound set selection (Darbuka, Bendir, Zilli Def, Kudüm), volume level
• App preferences: Language selection (Turkish/English), theme settings
• Saved presets: Custom usul configurations you create

4. Device Permissions

Usul requests the following device permissions, used exclusively for core app functionality:

• Vibration / Haptic Feedback: Used solely to provide tactile feedback synchronized with the metronome beat, helping musicians feel the rhythm physically.
• Audio Playback: Used solely to play locally-stored metronome click sounds (Düm, Tek, Ka strokes) and drone tones. No audio is recorded or transmitted.
• Wake Lock: Used to prevent the screen from dimming during active metronome playback sessions.

No permissions are used to collect, record, or transmit any data from your device.

5. Third-Party Services

Usul does not integrate any third-party services that collect data, including but not limited to:

• Analytics or tracking SDKs (no Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
• Advertising networks or ad SDKs
• Social media integrations or login providers
• Crash reporting services
• Cloud storage or synchronization services

6. Data Sharing

Since Usul does not collect any personal or usage data, there is no data to share with any third party. We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise disclose any information to third parties.

7. Children's Privacy

Usul is a music education tool suitable for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal data whatsoever, the app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) children's provisions, and similar regulations in other jurisdictions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

8. Data Security

All user preferences are stored locally on your device using the operating system's built-in secure storage mechanisms. Since no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of data interception during transit. Your locally-stored preferences are protected by your device's own security features (device lock, encryption).

9. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and others), you have the right to:

• Access: All your data is stored locally on your device and is directly accessible to you.
• Deletion: You can delete all app data by clearing the app's data in your device settings (Settings → Apps → Usul → Clear Data) or by uninstalling the app.
• Portability: Since no data is collected by us, there is no data to transfer.

Since Usul does not collect any personal data, the app is not subject to data processing regulations. However, we respect your privacy rights and have designed the app to give you complete control over your data.

10. International Users

Usul does not transfer any data internationally or to any server. Regardless of your location, your data remains exclusively on your device. This policy applies equally to users in all countries and regions.
